Terms of Service
Last updated 8 August 2026 · iKiguy AI
These terms govern your use of iKiguy, an AI-assisted medical documentation tool provided by iKiguy AI, based in Singapore. By requesting access or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a clinic or hospital, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
iKi drafts. You decide. Every report iKi produces is a draft that a qualified clinician must read, correct, and approve before it is used for care. iKi does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat, and it is not a substitute for your clinical judgement.
1. Who may use iKi
iKi is for qualified, registered healthcare professionals and the clinics and hospitals they work in. You must be legally permitted to practise in your jurisdiction and to create and hold medical records for the patients you document. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. Clinical responsibility
iKi produces a draft record from what it hears and reads. It can mishear, misinterpret, omit, or invent detail, particularly with unfamiliar accents, background noise, drug names, dosages, and numbers.
- You must review every report in full before signing, sharing, or acting on it.
- You remain solely responsible for diagnosis, prescribing, treatment, and for the accuracy and completeness of the medical record you sign.
- Your electronic signature on a report is your confirmation that you have reviewed it and accept it as your own clinical record.
- iKi does not provide medical advice and must not be relied on as a clinical decision support system.
Nothing in these terms transfers clinical responsibility to us, and nothing in them limits your professional or regulatory duties.
3. Beta programme
iKi is currently offered as a beta, delivered through TestFlight to a limited cohort. Beta software is unfinished. Features may change or be withdrawn, and faults are more likely than in a general release. Places are allocated at our discretion and we may decline or revoke access.
If you take part in the referral programme, referral codes have no cash value, may not be sold, and we may withdraw or reset them.
4. Your data and your patients’ data
Consultation recordings, transcripts, and reports created through iKi belong to you and your patients. We claim no ownership of them.
Where you use iKi to document patient care, you are the controller of that patient data and we act as your processor, handling it on your instructions and as described in our Privacy Policy. You grant us the limited right to process that content in order to provide the service to you.
We do not sell your data and it is not used to train AI models. On termination you may request export or deletion of your data.
If your jurisdiction requires a specific data processing agreement or business associate agreement before you may use a tool of this kind with patient data, contact us at hello@ikiguy.xyz before you begin.
5. Your obligations
- Obtain any patient consent your law or professional body requires before recording a consultation, and tell patients that an AI tool is being used to document their visit.
- Keep your device secured with encryption and a screen lock, and keep your account credentials private.
- Enter only information you are entitled to process.
- Meet the medical record retention rules that apply to your practice. iKi is a documentation tool, not your system of record for regulatory purposes unless you have determined it is suitable for that.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use iKi to break the law or a professional duty; share an account with anyone else; attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or retrain the underlying models; upload data you have no right to; interfere with the service or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission; or resell access without an agreement with us.
7. Availability and offline use
We aim to keep iKi available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service during the beta, and we may change or suspend it for maintenance.
iKi can capture consultations offline. Records taken offline are stored encrypted on your device and sync when a connection returns. Until a record syncs it exists only on that device, so if the device is lost, stolen, or damaged before syncing, that record cannot be recovered. You are responsible for keeping devices secure and reconnecting regularly.
8. Intellectual property
iKiguy, the iKi name, the mascot, the software, and the site are ours and remain ours. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service. You keep everything you create with it.
9. Fees
The beta is currently provided free of charge to invited doctors. We will give reasonable notice before introducing fees, and you will never be charged without agreeing to a paid plan first.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, iKi is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reports will be accurate, complete, or fit for any clinical or regulatory purpose, and you must verify them yourself.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, goodwill, or data, nor for clinical decisions made by you or anyone relying on a report you signed.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars, whichever is greater.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using iKi at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we reasonably believe use is unlawful or unsafe, or if we discontinue the beta. We will give notice where we reasonably can, and a fair opportunity to export your data.
13. Changes
We may update these terms and will revise the date above. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you directly. Continuing to use iKi after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. If you use iKi as a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protections that your local law grants you and that cannot be varied by agreement.
